Does anyone know why a Ghanaian team player was displaying the Israeli flag on a Ghanaian victory against the Czech Republic?

I've just found out the one of the players on the Ghana National Team - John Pantsil (no 15) ordinarily plays for Hapoel Tel Aviv...maybe that explains the Israeli flag?
