Machtnix in Fußball Tournier - Macht Nix in Football Tournament

Macht Nix is my Schülerladen - a place where young children who go to Kindergarten and older children who go to school can be during the day. We had a team in the football tournament. We got third place. Here are pictures of me and my Macht Nix friends (a bit).
Lamby getting the ball...

This is me holding up our team sign - Macht Nix, mach' ein Tor! - Macht Nix, score a goal!

That's Kieron (in blue), that's me and that's Nic's big daddy brother (in orange and navy blue)

Tyrell - Name Meaning and Origin
My mum found this information about my name from a website on babynames...
The boy's name Tyrell \t(y)-re-ll\ is pronounced tye-REL, TER-el. Possibly (Old French) "puller", and started as a nickname for a stubborn person, implying a comparison with a horse that uncooperatively pulls on the reins. Also possibly derivative of Tyr, the name of the Scandinavian god of battle. Tuesday was named for Tyr.
Tyrell has 6 variant forms: Terrell, Tirell, Tyrel, Tyrelle, Tyrrel and Tyrrell.
For more information, see also the related name Thorald.
Baby names that sound like Tyrell are Terell, Derell, Durell and Tirrell.
Tyrell is an uncommon male first name and a very popular surname (source: 1990 U.S. Census).

Film time
The Act of K.B.

This week my mum made me do a reading. I was reading K.B. and everybody was talking about me first for some reason. I think it was because maybe I was just such a good actor - well I don't know. Anyway I watched a few films with my brothers - I watched actually a part of a few films. What I watched it was Fantastic Four what I watched. Not just Fantastic Four the cartoon I mean Fantastic Four the movie.
Ghana is 50 today!!!
there will be no partying for dion, tyrell, lewis & i - we have school tomorrow.
how i would love to be in accra right now - i've missed an experience of a lifetime i think
though having said that - only 50 years to go, until the centenary?
maybe i'll still be able to shake it down when i'm 84...
read all about it on the bbc website: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/africa/6421819.stm
no celebration? to hell with that - i'll have a little drink when the boys are asleep...

we had a great time!

Lewis and I in Carluccios - Now I don't want you to think that we had lots of money with us or anything. But Lewis and I had just had a big argument and the day wasn't going in a good direction...so I took him out for breakfast to make amends. It was water soup with air bread rolls for the rest of the day.
Neil reading a bedtime story to Lewis and Anya...
Jacob in the MOSAIC office.
Jonah - lovin' that afro. I've promised to cornrow his hair next time I'm in town (I think)
Simeon - just chillin'

Lost in Berlin?
Not for long! Lewis and I are flying to Gatwick tomorrow morning. We will be in London with my sis on Thursday and then go to Brighton on Friday. I'm popping into the MOSAIC office in the afternoon - hopefully I'll be able to catch up with friendly faces as well as to have a quick work meeting with Naima (who of course is also a friendly face). Sleeping over at Shirley's Friday nite - it's been a while, looking forward to catching up.
I'll be training all day Saturday (Shirley is looking after Lewis, then after work I look after Ale), going to church on Sunday morning (haven't done that for a while) and co-convening a meeting of the BME Business Network in Momma Cherri's the afternoon. Neil's organised something for Sunday evening - I've forgotten what it's called.
There is a work meeting on Monday morning and we're going to see Amy's film premiere in the evening.
Tuesday I will spend most of the day in a Sankofa Journeys meeting with Althea while Lewis hangs out with Eden, then Lewis and I will fly back to Berlin in the evening.
Jam packed you see.
Sure hope there's enough time to eat chocolate & drink wine...

News from Tyrell: Our blog is back!

It's been a long time but we are now back in action.
There is lots to tell.
So beware! Send us an email (or leave a comment), or else!!!!
Today I was playing football.
I might have only scored one goal, but I still played good with the other players.
And I'm playing for the football team called BFC Suedring.
That's all for today.
Oh sorry, if you click on BFC Suedring the whole language will be in German. Just so you know.
So now it's really all for today.
